In this artwork, I portray a woman defined by elegance, restraint, and mystery. Working in a predominantly monochromatic palette, I allow bold black layers to shape her presence against a stark white background. Her face is partially concealed by the shadow of an oversized, avant-garde hat, creating tension between what is revealed and what remains hidden.
Negative space plays a central role in this composition. By reducing detail, I emphasize contrast and form, allowing the figure’s posture and attitude to speak louder than realism. The lips are an intentional focal point that introduces confidence and desire into the image.
The abstract extensions flowing from the hat add movement and fluidity, referencing both fashion and identity.
