FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a commission take?
Most commissioned artworks take 2–6 weeks, depending on size, detail, and my current schedule. I’ll always give you an estimated timeframe before we begin.
How does the mural booking process work?
We start with your idea. After discussing your space, style, and vision, I create a concept design. Once approved, we plan the painting date. A deposit is required to secure your booking.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. I ship worldwide using trusted carriers. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location.
Can I request changes to the concept?
Yes. Concept revisions are included within reason. If larger changes are needed after approval, additional fees may apply.
What are the payment methods?
You can pay via credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer. For murals and commissions, a deposit is required to start the project.
Do you offer framing for canvas art?
Yes, framing options are available upon request. I can recommend styles that match both your artwork and your interior.
Are your artworks original?
Yes. Every piece is handcrafted by me, Lars (Asko Art). No AI, no mass production — just real art, made by hand.
Can I see progress during a commission or mural?
Absolutely. I send updates during the process so you can see your artwork coming to life.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your artwork is damaged during shipping, contact me within 48 hours with photos. I’ll arrange repair, replacement, or another solution.
Do you create artwork for businesses?
Yes. I regularly create murals and commissioned pieces for gyms, restaurants, offices, cafés, and retail spaces. Business collaborations are welcome.
Can I request a custom size?
Yes. Every artwork can be made in a size that fits your space perfectly.
How do I know what size artwork I need?
Send me a photo of your wall and the dimensions of your space. I’ll recommend the perfect size to match your interior and viewing distance.
Can you recreate a painting I saw before?
I never copy my own work exactly, but I can create a new piece inspired by the one you liked — same vibe, new original artwork.
Do you work with interior designers or architects?
Yes. I frequently collaborate with designers on projects to ensure the artwork fits the overall interior concept.
Can I schedule a studio visit?
Studio visits are possible depending on my schedule. Send me a message and we’ll see what works.
Do you offer digital mockups?
Yes. For murals and larger commissions, I can place the design digitally onto your wall photo so you can visualize the final result before we begin.
What materials do you use?
I use high-quality spray paint, acrylics, and archival materials to ensure durability, color accuracy, and longevity.
How long does a mural last?
Indoor murals last a lifetime. Outdoor murals depend on weather conditions, but I use UV-resistant materials to keep the colors vibrant for many years.
Do you need access to electricity or water for a mural?
Electricity is helpful for equipment. Water is only needed if heavy preparation is required. I’ll let you know beforehand if anything special is needed.
Can you work while my business is open?
Yes. I can plan painting times around your opening hours or work in sections to keep your space functional.
How far do you travel for murals?
I travel across the Netherlands and abroad for mural projects. Travel costs are discussed beforehand.
How much does a mural cost?
Prices depend on size, location, and design complexity. You will always receive a clear quote before booking.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, payment plans are available for larger artworks. Just let me know if you need one.
What if I’m not sure what I want?
No problem at all. I help you shape your ideas, suggest styles, and guide you through the process until we find the perfect direction.
Can you include my logo or branding in a mural?
Yes, I can blend your branding with my artistic style to create a unique, professional look.
Do you create artwork for events?
Yes, I can create live paintings, custom pieces, or murals for events, festivals, and openings.
Do you use varnish or finishing coats?
