At Asko Art, every artwork is carefully prepared, protected, and packaged with great attention to detail to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition.
Whether you are purchasing an original artwork from the current collection or commissioning a custom piece, I want the entire delivery experience to feel clear, smooth, and trustworthy from the moment you place your order until it arrives at your door.
Processing Time
Shipping includes both preparation time and delivery time.
The preparation time depends on whether the artwork is already available or made specifically for you.
Original Artworks in Store
For artworks that are already completed and available for direct purchase, the standard processing time is typically:
1–5 business days
This includes:
final quality check
protective packaging
framing inspection (if applicable)
shipping label creation
courier handover
Commissioned Artwork
For custom commissions, the processing time depends on the agreed project timeline.
Because each commissioned piece is created individually, the timeframe may vary based on:
size
complexity
materials
framing
drying or finishing time
current project schedule
The estimated completion and shipping timeline will always be discussed in advance.

Estimated Delivery Times
Once your order has been shipped, estimated delivery times are usually:
The Netherlands: 1–3 business days
Europe: 3–7 business days
United Kingdom: 4–8 business days
United States: 3–7 business days
International: 5–15 business days
Please note that these are estimated delivery windows and may vary depending on courier services, customs, and local postal handling.
For commissions, delivery estimates begin after the artwork has been completed and shipped.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on:

artwork size
packaging requirements
frame dimensions
order value
All applicable shipping fees will always be clearly shown before payment is completed.
Free Shipping
From time to time, free shipping promotions may be offered on selected artworks, regions, or minimum order values.
Where applicable, this will be clearly displayed on the website and during checkout.
For larger framed pieces or international shipments, free shipping availability may vary.
Order Tracking
As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking information where available.
This allows you to follow your artwork from dispatch to delivery.
If you have not received tracking details within the expected preparation time, please contact me and I will gladly assist you.
Delays
While every effort is made to ensure timely delivery, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances outside my control.
This may include:
courier delays
weather conditions
customs inspections
public holidays
periods of high demand
incomplete shipping details
If your order is delayed, I kindly ask for a little patience while the courier updates the tracking status.

Customs & Import Duties
For international orders, customs duties, import taxes, or local handling fees may apply depending on your country.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Asko Art cannot be held responsible for delays, lost parcels, or failed deliveries caused by incorrect address information submitted during checkout.
If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact me as soon as possible before the order has been shipped.
Damaged Deliveries
If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery and include:
photos of the packaging
photos of the artwork or frame damage
your order number
