Returns & Refund Policy

At Asko Art, every piece is created with intention, craftsmanship, and personal attention. Whether you are purchasing an original artwork that is already available in the collection or commissioning a custom piece made especially for you, I want the entire process to feel clear, transparent, and trustworthy from start to finish.

This policy explains how returns, refunds, and order issues are handled, so you can purchase with confidence.

Original Artworks Available in Store

For artworks that are already created and listed as available for purchase, returns may be requested within 14 days of delivery, provided that the artwork is returned in its original condition and original packaging.

The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless the artwork arrived damaged or an incorrect item was sent.

Once the returned artwork has been received and carefully inspected, the refund will be processed to the original payment method.

Please note that the artwork must be returned undamaged and unused.

Commissioned & Custom Artwork

Commissioned artworks and custom-made pieces are created specifically for you based on your wishes, dimensions, style preferences, and project details.

Because these works are made personally and cannot be resold as standard inventory, returns and refunds are not possible once the commission process has started.

This includes custom paintings, portraits, wall art, framed commissions, and any personalized artwork made to your specifications.

Before work begins, all important details such as size, style, concept, framing, and timeline will be clearly discussed to ensure that expectations are aligned.

My goal is to make sure you feel fully confident before the creation process starts.

Damaged During Shipping

Every artwork is packaged with great care to ensure it arrives safely. In the rare event that your order arrives damaged during transit, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery.

To help resolve the issue quickly, please provide:

  • clear photos of the outer packaging

  • clear photos of the artwork or frame damage

  • your order number

  • a short description of the issue

If the damage occurred during shipping, I will always work with you to find the best possible solution.

Depending on the situation, this may include:

  • a replacement artwork

  • a replacement frame

  • repair or restoration

  • re-creation of the artwork

  • a refund in exceptional cases

Your satisfaction is extremely important, and I want your artwork to arrive exactly as intended.

Order Changes & Cancellations

For original artworks already in stock, cancellations may be possible before the item has been shipped.

For commissions, changes or cancellations are only possible before work has officially started.

Once the creative process has begun, cancellations or major changes may no longer be possible due to the time, materials, and work already invested.

If you need to make any changes, please reach out as soon as possible after placing your order.

Exceptional Situations

Every situation is unique, especially when it comes to art.

Even when a return is normally not possible, I always believe in personal communication and fair solutions.

If there is ever something that does not feel right, please reach out directly and I will personally review the situation with you.
