The Asko Art Philosophy
Before there was art, there was a feeling.
A feeling of freedom.
A curiosity to explore.
A desire to create something that did not exist before.
Long before I called myself an artist, I was already searching for ways to express what I felt inside. Drawing on anything I could find, creating without rules, transforming empty spaces into something meaningful.
Looking back, I don't believe art changed who I was.
It revealed who I already was.
Freedom Is Where Everything Begins
Creation starts with freedom.
The freedom to explore.
The freedom to question.
The freedom to follow an idea before knowing where it will lead.
For me, art has always been a way to escape limitations and discover new possibilities. Every line, every shape, and every form begins with the same question:
"What if?"
Create Something From Nothing
Everything meaningful starts as an invisible idea.
A blank canvas.
A simple line.
A thought that does not exist yet.
My role is not only to create artworks, but to bring something into the world that could only exist because I chose to create it.
Turning nothing into something is where the magic happens.
Stay True To Yourself
The world constantly tells us who we should become.
But true creation comes from understanding who you already are.
I believe the most powerful work is created without a mask, when an artist stops trying to fit into expectations and starts creating from their own truth.
Authenticity is not a style.
It is the foundation.

Every creation carries a piece of me.
A sculpture is not only metal.
A painting is not only color.
It is a moment, a story, and a feeling preserved in time.
The purpose of art is not simply to be seen.
It is to be remembered.
